Se analizan las limitaciones de la vida actual con respecto a las oportunidades de desarrollar un ocio saludable, creativo y activo. Existe una gran influencia de la pertenencia a una clase social popular sobre la falta de recursos para la utilización del tiempo libre. Además se evidencia una falta de iniciativa social, que, en opinión del autor, lleva a un ambiente familiar poco lúdico y activo, lo cual repercute sobre los niños y jóvenes del grupo. Se analizan los obstáculos relativos al juego y su importancia en el desarrollo del niño. Se estudia el cambio de estructura familiar y la institucionalización del tiempo libre. Estableciendo, finalmente, las variables de intervención para hacer reversible esta situación.

ABSTRACT

The limitations of life today are examined with respect to the opportunities of developing healthy, creative and active leisure time. The membership of a popular social class greatly influences the lack of resources for the use of free time. Moreover, a lack of social initiative is evident which, in the author’s opinion, leads to a family environment with little ludic or active orientation and this, in turn, adversely affects the children and adolescents of the group. The obstacles to play and the importance of play in the child’s development are examined. The change in family structure and the institutionalisation of free time is studied, and lastly the intervention variables are established to reverse this situation.
